Clean Your Home Without Harsh Chemicals

Home cleaning products don't need to contain harsh or toxic chemicals, there are natural solutions for almost every household cleaning job. By making your own you'll help the environment and save a little money to boot. Go green with these simple recipes!

Non-streaking spray glass cleaner

1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups warm water

Add all ingredients to a spray bottle and shake well to dissolve the cornstarch. Spray your surface and buff to a shine with a lint-free microfiber cloth.

All purpose spray surface cleaner- daily shower spray

1 tablespoon vegetable based liquid soap
1 cup rubbing alcohol
2 cups water
5 drops of your favorite essential oil

Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well to blend. This cleaner will take hairspray off of bathroom fixtures, and works beautifully on countertops, showers, and kitchen surfaces. Spray daily after your shower to keep your shower clean and fresh!

Non toxic toilet bowl cleaner

1 cup borax
1/2 cup vinegar

Flush the toilet to wet the sides of the bowl. Sprinkle the borax around the bowl, then drizzle with vinegar. Leave for about an hour to remove hard water stains and to sanitize. Scrub with a toilet brush and flush clean. Don't like to scrub? Leave several hours or overnight.
